About Cindy

Who, li'l ole me?

Married forever(Jim), two kids (Jen, married to John, and Chris, married to Beth). Beth and Chris have given us the most beautiful grandson ever. Arleady, at 3 years of age, Nick is a Cool Kid. Watching him grow up is such fun.

I'm a music junkie, I'll admit it. Dyed-in-the-wool folkie. I'm into Celtic, folk, country, comedy....lots of stuff.

I was a member of Sweetwater since 1985. Our music took us all over the US, and even to Canada, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. We have met so many wonderful people and have seen such great stuff. Mountains. Cities. This is a beautiful country. Music is good. But, the dream is over. Sweetwater broke up on March 8, 2008. It was a wonderful 22 years.

After almost 19 years away from WYSO, I been back on the air since 2005 ... Saturdays from 3-5pm - 91.3fm in Yellow Springs, OH. www.wyso.org online. The radio station has changed a lot, but the more organic aspects are still the same...... it really doesn't feel like I've been gone for 18 years. Ach, I was but a wee lass then.... 8-)

I work at an environmental laboratory. When you say that, people envision green fields, blue sky and sparkling water. Sorry. We test some of the gunk that comes out of the back ends of factories....and we test it to make sure that we'll have blue skies and green fields and sparkling water. Or so the EPA tells us. We also do testing on drinking water, so we see both sides.

I'm also a dulcimer player, and autoharp player (and a few other things). Not playing so much these days, but you never know....

I am also busy with a different kind of radio - an online radio station that only plays dulcimer music - mountain and hammered dulcimers. It's called Dulcimer Radio (natch) and you can find it at: www.live365.com/stations/dulcimerradio . Drop by and give it a listen.....

Well, enough about me.....what about YOU???
