Dulahan's New CD Release Party!
Contributed by: cindy | Views::7

Our 5th CD LIVE AT BAINBRIDGE is here and we are having a little wing ding at the Dublin Pub in Dayton this Friday, August 20th to celebrate.
So many folks made that night we recorded in February such a fun evening and we hope you will come out Friday and recreate the spirit of that night.
We have been playing outdoor shows since May so for the first time in over three months we can invite friends to a show that will not feature 90 degree temperatures.
We won't know how to act playing in air conditioning again but we are willing to try to adapt.
We hope you'll come down and celebrate the CD release with us. You are welcome to pick up a copy of LIVE AT BAINBRIDGE while you're there but our main hope is you'll come share an evening of music with us.
Show starts at 8:30 but the Pub is open for great food and drink long before that.
Hope to see you

Videos you need to see on YouTube!
Contributed by: cindy | Views::258
Hi!
I'm putting some links to videos here.....videos that you need to see. There are some amazing clips of legendary celtic music performances on YouTube. Some new material, some vintage recordings that pretty much have never been seen.
NEW!!!
A new video has just been uploaded to YouTube from the great Australian group, David Hyams and the Miles to Go Band. I love this track.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0LuSs8Gm9I
This video is tons of fun! And if it won't get you singing and maybe even dancing, then you'd better have your blood pressure checked!! This comes from a school in Scotland - and you can see, the whole school gets in the act!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrNLm0w0mDs
And another that I MUST share with you. These videos are from an excellent Canadian program called One Warm Line, about Stan Rogers. This is just one from the series. But it gives you an idea how excellent they all are, and how wonderful Stan Rogers was. If you have no Stan Rogers music in your collection....then your collection is not complete!
Enjoy.....................

And, if there are some stellar videos you've found on YouTube, send the link to me at:
wyso@cindyfunk.com. I'll check them out, and will possibly post them here.
Have fun,
Cindy
A quote I love...

I just came across this great quote. Love it!
The word "Celtic is a magic bag, into which anything may be put, and out of which almost anything may come. . .
Anything is possible in the fabulous Celtic twilight."

Online Playlists
Contributed by: cindy | Views::547
Don't forget, that WYSO now has online playlists, that matches the streaming of the signal. It's a pretty great system, easy to use from the input end, but also easy to use from the listeners end too.
Just go into www.wyso.org.
Along the top there are small tabs - click on Music, click on Playlists and then you can choose the program you want to see the playlist for, with the drop-down box. Choose Dear Green Place! Click - Search, and you'll see a list of my shows. The most recent is at the top.
Pretty cool, huh?
