I've been SO domestic this week..... First, homemade vegetable soup....and now, good wheat bread on a cold, blustery Saturday morning.
I made lots of bread in the old days, when the kids were small, and I wasn't working. There were some years that we never needed 'store bought' bread - I made it all. Those were good days. Days before we had to worry about carbs and calories and anything else..... 8-)
Now, I've been on the quest for a good wheat bread recipe that has everything.....lots of good fiber, (not full of wheat 'colored' junk and chaff)....with nuts and good flavor. The good stuff.
This is the first time I've tried this English Brown Bread recipe...but so far, it looks good! Wish I could put put up some Smell-a-vision on here!!!
